Bonus points for the five minutes I just spent trying to do the “ARRANGE THE MARRIAGE” pivot and hand splay. Sometimes I forget that this movie is actually the plot of a story called “Derek has no idea where he is but he hopes that there will be treats.”

I JUST LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH. Probably because this is one of the only animated prince-rescues-princess films where 1. the princess basically saves herself even if the prince fights the baddie at the end and 2. I actually completely buy the romance. They are total dorkfaces and Odette probably deserves better, but oh do I buy it.

Oh, how I love this movie. The goofiness! The songs! Fairly non-cloying animal sidekicks!

I need to rewatch this soon.
